Appearance: A blue hedgehog standing at about 5'0 with large spikes and large green eyes. Sonic has cat like ears standing on the front of his head just before his spikes. He has rolled up socks and wears red shoes with white straps and gold buckles. He also wears white gloves on his hands rolled up to his wrists. He's a dark blue color except for his stomach, nose and around his mouth. He's got a small blue tail. And he's got one sarcastic grin.
Personality: Quick witted and fast paced with one heck of an attitude problem. Sonic likes danger and thrills and loves a challenge. He has a heart of gold despite his carefree and nonchalent attitude. He can't turn his back on injustice or someone in trouble. It takes a lot to get Sonic riled up but not as much to get him annoyed. He'll leave if he feels he's not wanted or doesn't want to waste his time. The hedgehog doesn't stick around long of course, he likes to keep moving.
Sonic loves chilidogs. He'll take the time out of any fight or confrontation to snag one of these. Its usually not a problem because he's so fast. Sonic is also a very loyal friend. Once you've gained his trust and he's gained yours, he'll likely stick it out with you through thick and thin. He can be sarcastic but he means well. He'll also complain a lot if things are going to slow and he starts getting bored. Sonic is in the worst mood when he's bored. All around he's a pretty good guy to be with. Just don't get on his bad side. He can seem withdrawn and distracted often because he likes to keep moving so much but he'll be paying attention if its important, even if you can't tell.
Oh one more thing...Sonic thinks he's awesome. He's got a bit of a big ego...And sometimes it takes him awhile to get by it...
Abilities: Superspeed. Sonic is virtually the fastest thing alive on foot. He can reach up 760 miles per hour to create a sonic boom. Once in the city of Manhatten, he can still run faster then anything in the city but his speed has been greatly reduced for his standards. He also gets tired considerably faster then he used too. It irritates him and he feels as if he's going 'slow' when he's still quite the fastest thing around. He also gets very peeved when he has to take a break to rest. Its not like him and he'll try and push himself more only to end up passed out from exhaustion.
Weaknesses: If Sonic is tired or hungry he can't run as fast as before. He's got to keep himself well rested and full or he's at a slow speed and a disadvantage. Sonic is also very hot headed. He can end up getting into a fight quite fast or running into a situation far too fast. (Harr harr. No puns intended) Sonic is also very carefree and overconfident. That can get him into a lot of trouble.
Sonic DOES NOT swim. He can't stand water and virtually sinks to the bottom. The boy cannot and will not survive in it for long. You can't run underwater and he never learned how to swim. (Nor does he want to.)
History: Sonic was born and lived on planet Mobius. His parents raised him there along with his Uncle Chuck. Even when Sonic was little he had his taste for speed. His Uncle was an inventor and invented something called "Power Rings". These rings allowed Sonic to move even faster then he normally did and take down enemies. Sonic's Uncle Chuck was soon turned into a robot by Dr. Robotnik, along with Sonic's father.
He had plenty of friends, the freedom fighters, and defended his home town, Knothole, from the evil Doctor Robotnik and his army of robots all while trying to get his family back together. The freedom fighters had countless adventures and fought with Robotnik over and over. Tails , a two tailed fox and child genius, was his best friend and almost a little brother to him after he saved him from bullying for his two tails. Sally was someone he cared about above everyone, they're still iffy on the whole relationship scene, but they were getting closer with every passing day.
The freedom fighters did in fact stop Robotnik one day and they broke up, scattering around. Tails stayed with Sonic, along with a new friend, Knuckles, the Echidna. They were last scene in a city on Mobius, this time trying to stop a black Hedgehog from committing crimes and destroying Sonic's name as they both looked alike except in color.
One day while Sonic was out tracking the 'fake' hedgehog, he hit his head and when he woke up...He wasn't in Mobius anymore...
